Try the Big Chipper, they are down near the John Ball Zoo. They always give me a nice discount when I tell them I'm a landscaper and sometimes they will throw in free delivery on big orders.

Anybody else noticing how bad the prices for lawn service are getting around here. I'm bidding almost 25% less than what I did 3 years ago and am still not winning business. I can't believe how many ads I've seen for $15.00 lawn mowing this year.

It's always a good thing to be busy, it is a bad thing to be slow or no work at all. How many customer's are servicing this year if you don't mine me asking. also what type of Echo edger do you run, I got the PE-225 but I think it is a little under power.

I have 14 Regulars, which equals 2 days of mowing for me anyways. They are larger property's 1-2 acre. That number will probably go up, I always seem to add one or two new customers. I have believe I have the same one, I would have to go out and look. I agree with you on the underpowered for overgrown edges but weekly edging, no problem. The problem I have is that if you lay it on its side a certain way the engine floods and its a pain to start. How many property's you servicing this year?

I have 5 Weekly accounts signed up at this moment, I have a couple agreements out there waiting to come to hear back. This is my 1st full season on Lawn Care, I normally only do Fall clean ups and Snow Removal.

I have a Expedition, with a small trailer a Toro Proline 52", JD 42" LT155, push mower and echo handhelds.
I cover Cascade, EGR, Ada, Forest Hills, and north to rockford and west to 131 for mowing anyways. For other services I will travel anywhere in GR. I had a ton of calls for lawn care in the SW side but I still could justify going all the way over there. As my shop is located in Ada. Business is good trying to finish before the weekend.

Yea she told me the same thing, I was considering signing up and I told her I would call her back. After I got off the phone I looked up the number she called from and the number she wanted me to call back, It came back as a scam.

It's never to late, I still have people calling for mowing quotes. There are low ballers dropping like flies, because of the heat now. I gained most of my customers last year in the middle of the season.

Also if anyone receives a call from a couple on deer run in Ada. They are extreme pain in the asses, I had them last year and they are a scheduling horror. They have a mower and like to mow it sometimes and then the next week they call you and want it done that day.

So how was everyone's day with that heat today, It is suppose to be hotter tomorrow I think news 8 said like around 95, but that does not include the humidity. That outta be fun to work in but then Thursday and the rest of the week is suppose to be in mid 70's or lower.

I get my mulch mostly from Buy Sell Landscaping, They are located on Knapp and the Beltline. That's only in if im in the area or passing them to go to the job. I usually look at what is closest to the job site and go from there. I know your on the south side of town you may want to try Landscape Impressions on 68th in between patterson and east paris, I believe.

The "legal" issues pertain to my direct boss "holding my job and apt." over my head and to engage in numerous violations regarding commercial pesticides, I'm in the works of a lawsuit, and well will need a new source of income soon.. My meaning of "Gas, Grass or A$$" is because Im in to drag racing, the lawn care industry and well I like girls.

Im going after the company and to be vague, Ive been ordered to not triple rinse and to drain into city street drains if I dont comply "he" will fire me and start a eviction process. there is no/lacking PPE and improper storage.

The leaves are still on the the trees over here and everybody is a tightwad and wait till every last leaf is down before they call someone or wait till spring. I had a call for snowplowing, that I was going to forward to you but it was way out in lowell almost to ionia, figured it was a little to far for one account.
