Air Filter Cover for Shindaiwa 630 Blower

i have a Shindaiwa 630 Blower and the air filter cover has come off severall times when the blower was put in the back of the truck. Some times we noticed and sometimes we didn't immediately. Any one else had problems. The cover should screw on like Sthil and others. Any ideas on how to keep it on. I was thinking on slipping a sock over the top and slitting it at the carburetor.

I have not had any trouble with my 630. You could try locktite on the screw threds to keep it from backing out. I hope this helps.

My filter cover does not have screws that hold the outside cover on. It just snaps on. Is there some kind of new cover assembly or are you just referring to the bolts that hold the carburetor on?:eek:
