I'm somewhat interested in a used kubota tractor that has ag tires. I think that this would be a problem when I need to be on turf. So I would like to get maybe some r4's or turf tires. How easy is it to get new rims and tires? Is it something that a local tractor dealer could take care of? I might put r4 on the old rims if i can do that. Otherwise if i have to get turf I figured I could keep both and keep the turf tires on there but in the snow or mud put the other ag's back on. Does it have to be an exact size tire or are there a few that fit on the rims? Can a dealer get them for me?:waving:

R4 and ag rims are a different width. Tires wont transfer over. I'd bet a dealer would be able to get the rim/tire set of R4's. Keep the old ag tires just in case you have a project that requires traction. R4's have trouble getting a grip.

Me too, never had a reason to swap them over, season to season.
