Who else is going?
Im a senior at a Vocational HS, and im in landscaping, and am required to be in FFA...
They actually have a FFA contest there (1 of the reasons my class is going)...
Its a Career Development Event (CDE)... They test us on stuff like... Blueprint reading and interpretation, Plant ID, Tool ID, MSDS sheet interpretation, Safety stuff, Irrigation ID, and a written part...
They actually changed it from last year, and we just took the written part today, online... I got a 76 out of 100... Top of my class by 13 points...
I hope to place better over all this year... I placed 74 or 75th last year in the state...
If we get top 10 at cents we go on to a hands on part (skid steer operation, zero turn operation, sod install, landscape design, tree planting, pavers... And a few other things...
So, is any1 else going, and is any1 else competing in the contest?
