Thinking of adding dethatching as a spring service this season.
I want to buy a 48" JRCO unit with the mount bar.
My question is, is it feasible to use with a Grass Gobbler? Or would you be dumping the bin so much it becomes inefficient? Do you really need the power bagger instead?

I really don't want to get into the scenario where I am jumping off my Z every round I make to dump the bin.
That is a complete waste of time and labor.

I have the 48" rake on my walker and we use a two pass technique--raking, mowing, bagging with the walker and then over again with the bobcat walkbehind and accelerator. If you were just catching with a grass gobbler or accelerator you would be dumping all the time. Frankly the rake, the weight kit, and a bagger on a Z is waaaaayyyy too heavy for lawns in the spring.
