Something my girlfriend and I put together before a postcard mailout(so the website could be on the postacard). Plan to add a picture page of projects as I go. What are you thoughts on it? www.evergreenbr.com

I like it but I'm no expert on Websites.
A couple of things I noticed.
When I open your site the tab on my pc says blank, you need to change it to your domain name. Don't ask me home to do it.
Also, I'm sure you plan to add more pages. You may want to have a services page, a testimonial page.
Also I would have a contact us page where they can email you a bid request with there info.
Hope this helps, our site is in my sig. Maybe you could get ideas from it.
I sure others will have other/better opinions.

One more thing. On our home page we have a request a bid line. If someone clicks on this it takes them to a form they fill out and it's emailed to us.
IMO, you want to make it as fast and simple as possible for folks.

I appreciate the input! I havent taken before and after pictures of any of my work. I plan to do so this year and add a pictures page. I was also thinking about adding the bid request form. Does yours get used alot?

It's very generiac. Black text on white background is better. You should also have the website centered to the window. You need to title your page. Not to sound harsh, and I know my site needs work as well, but you asked. Good luck.

No harm done! I appreciate the input. I will probably have someone design a website for me in a few months. I agree with what you are telling me, just dont know how to fix them.

I agree with the other comments, the "blank" line is your page title see if you can change that. Also good suggestion to flip the colors, white background, black text, and bring your phone number to the top of the page instead of the bottom.
The request forms (generally speaking) get used quite often, not just in the lawn mowing service.

Somebody posted a link to, what I thought, was a pretty nice looking website. I see it just recently and they only paid $500.

You need a header for different pages. I know mine isn't perfect but it might give you some ideas. My webmaster also give 10% to anyone from Lawnsite that uses them.

The colors of the site are the colors I use. My shirt is kiwi green with black and white lettering. My trailer signs are black with neon green logo and wording.
Would you guys put a slide show or just a handfull of before and after photos? I will revise it in a few days and repost to take votes.
