Im in high school and plan on investing in a commercial trimmer. I really like the Echo brand, but found a Redmax BC-280 on Craigslist for $180, and the guy threw in about 150 ft. of line. The guy also claimed that it only had 20 hours (probably an exaggeration) but said it still has the homeowners warranty, as it is only "6 months old". I don't know much about Redmax brand, so I looked on their website and couldn't find the BC-280. Does anyone know if this is a discontinued model? Thanks for the help.

You should do yourself a favor and buy a stihl.

If thats the trimmer you want spend $40 bucks more and buy it new. Its not worth saving $40 and having it break due to teh lack of maintenance from the homw owner.
