I have been checking into SEO and looking to increase my web presence. One question I have that I cant find where it has been addressed on here is the results on a Google search show up as mapped businesses at the top of the page. Some of these companies dont even have a website but are listed at the top of the page. How do you get listed on these results? I have shown an example here below. Results A, D, E, F, & G all do not have websites.

you have to register with them. its free and there should be a link on there to list your business

I'm convinced that directories like Yellowpage listings are related to that. Because just doing the free listing alone is not enough for guaranteed good results on that map and local results anymore.
