Hello everyone, I'm pretty new to this site as I'm moving from snow removal into lawn care as well this year. A little background on me I'm 45yo and started my business in 2008 doing only snow removal for 45 mostly residential customers in an area of 5 acre minimum lot sizes. I sent out an e-mail to find out how many of my customers would be interested in me taking care of their lawn care needs as well and got a pretty good response so now I'm moving forward with my plan to expand into Lawn Care this season.
Yesterday I purchased an older Exmark Lazer Z 60 Ultracut unit with a newer 35hp B&S Vanguard Commercial series engine. The owner did not know the year of manufacture nor did he have a manual.
I'd like to find out the specifications of this unit especially the top mowing speed but I'm having trouble locating this information online. I found an online lawn mowing calculator so if I know the speed of this unit I can estimate how long it will take me to mow specific lot sizes and give my potential customers a competitive bid price.
I can post model and serial numbers and a picture of the unit if that will help someone identify the year of manufacture. One last thing I do know the original engine was a 25hp Kohler engine which the guy who sold it to me replaced 100 hours ago because it was tired.
