I've had it for quite a few years. It's a 48" and as I remember, it was in the $1400 range. I really have been extemely happy with it. It's made me a lot of money. One of the best investments to date!

Matt,
Your Lesco IS a Classen. Lesco buys the finished product from Classen and paints em green instead of red. My local guy's at Lesco gave me the scoop.

How much power does it take to pull the tow behind?
I have a Toro 52" Z w/ 19hp Kaw.
Would that handle it or would I need more power?
What do you guys tow with?

Bruce, I would assume that you would be fine since you have additional power from not running the blades.

How many of you use your ATV's to pull these types of aerators, I'm also having a hard time finding the tow behind Feldmanns or other types of tow behind in my area, I live fairly close to St.louis. Thanks

Very nice pictures. 400 lbs. is a lot of down weight. That is some serious penatration:dizzy:
I guess you don't have to have too much water beforehand.

I've got the Classen but with the 3 pt configuration. It is a solid unit. I run it off of a Mitsubishi 15hp diesel tractor. My back has never felt better after aerating 100K sq ft.

i've got great deals on the Classens!
click here to see! (http://www.lawnsite.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25367)
in fact the one LGF and Mow Ed have are from me, if you don't have 3pt., the electric lift is sweet, it'll spoil you!
thanks for the pics Mike!
i rent a Classen 48rt, most my renters have craftsman lawn tractors that pull it with no problem.
When they were at the bar bq, they still pulled good plugs with no added weight...and the ground was hard and dry.
quality piece of equipment....YES
