Compost Spraying for a very small set up

I've mined other threads and still need some more specific help on compost spreading.

I'm looking to spread with a backpack or something that costs under $200. I've only got two or three folks interested and all have fairly small yards.

Do I need to be concerned about the effect of pressure pumps on microbial life?

If so, what are the best options without going to larger set ups?

try to get the largest pump you can 4 GPM or better

Are you talking about spraying compost or compost tea? Big difference in what you need to spray it...
