I've got quite a bit of this grass popping up in my lawn this year. Just curious as to what it might be? I've also got some henbit & onions so I thought I'd use a 2% solution of gly on all of them before the bermuda comes out of dormancy. Any ideas? Scott

I suspect annual bluegrass, Poa annua.
Odd--in Bermuda country--you guys don't like green grass--you want it a uniform brown. Go figure.
Not sure if you can spray it now.

spray it now!!! riggle is right it's poa annua... aka annual bluegrass. It will die when it gets hot and while your bermuda lawn will be green the poa will turn brown and leave your lawn looking green with brown spots in it.

Lol.....if it's winter & it's green you know it doesn't belong! Even though the temps have warmed considerably early this year I figure I've got at least a couple more weeks to get it sprayed before the bermuda starts to green up.

Thanks for the input! Scott
