Does anyone know if they plan on coming out with a Stander, equipped with an adjustable mowing deck?

define adjustable. if you mean a floating deck, i doubt they will. i think it would add too much to the over all length, and right now the standers are the shortest length machines made. (so far as i know anyhow)

It's called a Great Dane, or a John Deere.

You are better Off with a turf tracer. The fixed deck is why i didn't get One Of the standers.
John.

Wright does have a hybrid of the Stander which is called a Sentar. The differences are that it only comes in 52" and 60" decks, it does have the same controls as the Stander and also has a fold down seat. It really is more designed as an answer to a sit down rider as opposed to the original "standing" version, but is does have a floating and easily adjustable deck.

John I love my exmark metro wb, but seriously how can one compete with a machine that cuts grass at nearly 8mph? Never used a tracer, how is it?

I realize everyone's still stuck in 1966, but my Hustler WB can cut at about 10 mph, and 6/8 mph is it's normal pace. Plus, it turns faster and is more maneuverable than those "K" turning Z's ;)
Yes, it's not stock, but that's not my fault. Just beause the people at Hustler can't get it right, doesn't we have to settle for it.

Hustler got it right !!
The Hustler hydro walks are awesome, and we have no problems with the unit in stock form.
Your need to modify your wb, has nothing to do with "Hustler not getting it right"
If it was not right why did you buy it ???
I must say again, there is nothing wrong with them in the stock form.

Flex-Deck

mowerconsultant - you realize that the Flex-Deck goes right on the Hustler WB without having to cut into the deck - you have the skirt hugging the blade far enough. -

I just bought a 36" Viking Hydro eXmark for $4009 + $1299 for the flex-deck = $5308 for a 54" WB that contour mows and trims. So I guess the price of the Flex-Deck is in the confines of what MSRP is in the industry -

I will have to admit that I only have 15 HP as your 54" is 17,

Please reply - lets get some Flex-Decks on those Hustlers-They are a natural. - It seems to me that any time you add 18" to a mower, it costs about $1500. You know, MFG's allow and think they have enough HP for power flow baggers, and other power robbing kits, so why would a Flex-Deck be different. http://52X-Under Trees2

John,

I actually mow full speed in just about any conditions, as I always keep the blades sharp. I was thinking of a turf tracer next year, maybe upgrade my metro. Send me a picture if you can.

I am wondering..... How do stay on the sulky at that speed? You would have to be on a smooth Golf Course to stay on at that speed (10 mph). And I dont agree with a WB being more maneuverable than a "Z" either.

Hey Switchless, what exactly did you modify on the Hustler to make it better and do you have any idea why Hustler wouldn't make the changes you have made?

Would the changes make the GateMaster due out first of the year better?

He's yanking you chain, all he could do was bump up the RPM's to 4200 and maybe adj. so he has more fwd speed but you loose nutrual and reverse doing this.
