I have a brand new 2011 Scag 36" V-Pro walk behind for sale. It is still in the original Scag manufacturer crate. I ended up buying a 48" off a member on here so I am now going to sell the 36". I will take $4500 and this is $200 under actual dealer cost. This mower retails for over $6000. Brand new zero hours and not registered through Scag so new owner will have to fill out paperwork and have a full warranty.

This is also listed on ebay if anyone is looking for a new scag as this is as cheap as you will find one new.

It's against all dealer contracts to sell these units in a crate, so perhaps you could share the story of how you have a crated unit not registered!!

I was told this by my dealer as well. I bought this mower out of MI from a dealer and this is how it arrived. I am probably going to sell it to my dealer as they showed me their actual cost on this mower was $4756 and offered me what I paid for it at $4500. I would rather someone in our industry save on a machine so I am trying to sell it to an individual to pass on the savings I got. I ended buying a 48" Pro-V off of here from an individual as I decided I would benefit more from the 48".

It comes with all books, keys and invoice of dealer I purchased from. I am in KY and my dealer said that MI was a different distributor up there and maybe there was different ways of making sales as they were shocked I bought a new one cheaper than their cost as well. I bought it from Grandville Tractor in Grandville, MI and it was shipped via freight truck in crate.

I just reported Grandview to their distributor. They are in violation of Scag"s internet policy. I was told they recieved their last warning today and they are being cancelled. You're going to see more of this. Bad as you guys hate the dealers the manufacturers don't like dealing with you and need their dealers.

I may be missing something here but i still don't understand how you bought this from a dealer at or below dealer cost? Maybe you are a dealer????

Nope, no dealer just ordinary guy as I saw it listed on ebay and it was listed at $4699 or make best offer and I offered $4200 and they accepted. I sent money and paid $300 to ship it to me and it was sent in crate to my door. I felt pretty lucky to get it as I never expected my offer to be accepted. I ended up buying a 48" Pro-V from a member on here and sold the 36" Pro-V to a member on here.

Now we have dealer politics on the free classified board too? Great.

I miss spoke anyway. I just thought I reported him. Actually, Scag and Pace Distributing already had this thread. It had already been reported to them and they had been watching Grandview. Evidentially they're going to have to catch him again before he's cancelled. The guy's obviously broke so he'll probably go out of business before he's cancelled anyway.

Binky, I guess you're one of the many dealer haters on this site. Hopefully Parkerlawn isn't a dealer hater. I don't know who his dealer is but he must be a heck of a guy if he services all of this equipment he buys on the internet.

Tattle Tails.... Why would it matter to anyone on here how it is packaged. Let corporate deal with violations and such not some new member looking to make a name.
