View Full Version : Help with re building website
Looking to re build our website. It is dated. I built it in 2006 using Frontpage.
I liked the ability to change real time from my PC to the web.
It is limited by the graphics and design. Any other software that can be used to have an easy quick to make real time changes?

Wordpress, just google it.
I use wordpress for over 80% of my own websites,
and my clients' websites, its great because they can make
changes and updates themselves.
It's free, its web based, once you click publish/update changes are live instantly.

Any text editor will do that. Edit the file you need to, upload to your site. Usually best to run a non-live test site before you commit changes to your live site.

To be honest, I would consult an expert. The general appearance of a site (mainly first page) is the fabric (or makeup) of your site. They know what "keywords" to use to draw people to your site. The web is where most consumers do there looking now. The newspaper companies are struggling because people get their info on the web. Building a website and getting it to the top of Google or Yahoo is no easy task. That's my take. Good luck with the website building project
