does my 21 toro proline leed to thatch

ok guys I did a serch and yealded few results. I have a proline and I do not bag due to the fact that it does such a good job mulching. Well my question is does this leed to increased thatch? Thanks in advance.... Frank:help:

Thatch is a layer of rizoms and or stolens. Grass clippings are just water and nitrogen. (cheap fert.)
