Exmark - suspension seat

I'm looking at adding the Michigan Susp seat to couple of Exmark units this year. My question...is this the same seat found on Gravely units? I am not familar with Gravely but returned last week from demo show and those Gravely seats were sweet. They appear in pics to be the same. Thanks for input.

i ordered one last year,when it came in i wasnt impressed at all.the price was 800 i think ,me and the dealer thought it was way too much for it. good luck

$800 seams way high, you could buy a nice couch for that. There are some at Northern Tools that are alot cheaper and good quality.

Lazer Z with standard factory seat.

The Michigan suspension seats are awesome. Yes, they are the same seat that is found on gravely's as well as options on most other mowers.

I bought the 'Michigan' suspension seat from Northern Tool like others have. It's a very comfortable seat and appears to be built well. It' MUCH more comfortable than my old factory seat that had no suspension. My back was starting to hurt with the old seat. This new one is great.

is that black seat hotter then the standard gray? I had read debates on that in another thread.

Off topic...how do those type tires do on turf and what lead you to make the change?

Nice clean mower. How much did the seat cost you. I have a 2010 Toro G3 and the standard seat is very comfy.
