Has anyone started their scalping of bermuda grass yet?

Finished. We don't do one big scalp though. Rather, starting in j
december we lower our mower height with our leaf cleanups each trip (usually 3-4.) so by february our grass is ready for pre-emergent. I've found this much easier on us and the grass. Looks better as well. Better get to scalping, saw some active Bermuda on a south facing lawn TODAY!

We plan to scalp our first bermuda yard this Friday. I normally don't start until mid March but the client wants it done this week. We just set our mowers at the lowest cutting height and go from there. Used to go to dirt but not any more.

My lawn is greening up quite nicely now. We've got weeds growing on most of our properties, and a few in open sun are greening, but we mow those high.

It crazy how early everything is coming out of dormancy. There are going to be a lot of blooms knocked out when we likely have our last cold spell.
