witch first ? Soccer fields at school fields hopefully to help with this spring season

aerate - seed- roll

roll-aerate - seed.

any help for the rookie volinteer would help.

This is a bit out of my realm but I would say dont roll after you aerate because this will compact the soil which is what your preventing when you aerate.

The best is to core aerate, seed and use a drag mat to break up the cores and drag the seed and soil into the holes. Or, if you can find an aeravator, use it to overseed with. Not sure where you are but in the north, perennial rye is best for spring seeding if you are going to be using the soccer field. You are kind of taking a shot in the dark without a soil test and fertilizer strategy along with making sure the soil pH is in line.
