Ok so we have been mowing for years, we are getting calls on commercial work and we are going to give out bids on them. I have one job that has 110,497 sq ft of grass and they told me they were paying $155 per visit this equels to about .14 cents per square foot does this sound right?

No. That is $0.0014 per sq ft not $0.14 per sq ft

at $0.14 per sq ft they would be paying you $15469.58 per visit

you are correct so what is an easer way to do this?

The math? Calculator enter "155/110497". That gives you dollars per square foot.

Yes at .0014 that is right. When we get to that point in footage, make it into acreas. That is how I would price that property. I am running a few numbers here today and I am in the neighborhood of .00071856287 / K of grass. That is based off of 3-5 yr contracts that are being re-bid currently.

Roughly 2.54/acres at $155 is $61.00/ acre. Sounds about right.

premium money for that size--end of discussion!!

i don't understand the whole charging by sq. ft. thing...i just charge by the 1/4 acre 1/3 acre 1/2 acre 1 acre and so on lol...round it off...it doesn't have to be exact...i just look at the yard and decide...hmm yep that's a $50 yard...or that's a $40 yard...i might charge $25 for a tiny yard that takes 15 min to cut...but mostly all my yards are $40 or $50...1 acre yards $75...i see all these guys on here getting so technical with it like charging $32 or $47 or whatever...if they can pay $32 they can pay $40 or at least $35...if they can pay $47 they can pay $50 lol

Yea but it's alot more than just cutting when they want fertilizer, mulch and other pruning and cleanups.

Over here some lawns are Fertilized so well they grow 3 in each week. I add extra for carting that much grass away, however these are homeowner lawns.
