Got tired of cones alway's in the way so I made a home for them suckers.Use to have the tire mounted flat to the tongue of the trailer.Picked up an aluminum tongue box from TSC for more storage .Welded up a spare tire holder and a holder for the cone's turned out nice and look's clean to me.Figured I would share the idea with my fellow grass cutters.

I mounted something similar on my landscape truck for my cones.

Looks good.

Did you weld the support directly to the tongue? The picture looks that way.

Now thats funny. They actually came from my old parttime job and were left by the local gas company they sat around about a year .My boss told me to make them go away so in the truck they went.I'm not a stealing kind of guy KARMA'S a bit# h

Yes I cut the steel on an angle and welded it to the side of the tongue.I also ran 2 more pieces of steel on top and underneath the tongue that span the width of the tongue. They are hid by the new box though.I did that to add strength to the tongue more so for the tire mount and to keep the frame from flexing do to the leverage caused by the tire weight and road conditions.Everything is more rigid now.
