Guys,

This truck is in excellent condition. It's never seen snow and it never been abused. I am the second owner. I bought it from a personal friend and I knew how well he treats and maintains his equipment. Here are the particulars:

Late model F450 V-10 w/23,300 miles on the odo
- Monroe 11 foot dump box
- GVW 15,000 LBS - CDL not required
- 8, 901 LBS Empty (w/full fuel)
- 5 speed manual (5th overdrive)
- hydraulic brakes
- electronic trailer brake controller
- AM/FM stereo
- Air conditioning
- Manual windows

I did the upside down penny thing on the tire tread. Tread falls between Abe's eyeball and the bridge of his nose. Brakes, clutch, coolant, exhaust, and battery are all fine with - fresh oil/filter change. Zero leaks (oil, coolant, box hydraulics)

There is zero rust/cancer on this truck, do to it being stored inside our shops when not working. Dump box and bed are rock solid and not at all beat up. The lettering is vinyl and not paint, so it peels off.

Other than the dent in the front bumper (not my doing) and the seam starting to come apart on the driver side of seat, it needs nothing.

PRICE is $13,500.00 If interested, give me a call (608-295-7420) and I'll provide straight honest answers. Here are some pics:

Krayz - It's really a great truck. Runs smooth, pulls hard and rides really nice (loaded/unloaded) for a dump truck.

Thanks Glenn - I'm hoping someone from LS has the need for a good solid truck. I'm just not using it as much as I had originally intended.

That is a great truck. I wish it was white and had a diesel, i am in the market for a dump.

What is the mpg on a gasser? Have you ever plowed with it? What i the best you could do? Would you take 9500?

Truck has never seen snow and has never plowed snow. The way I run it, I get 10 MPG. That said, it's got plenty of grunt and torque to spare. 1st gear is a granny. I would image with a full load of sand/salt and the right tires it would plow great.

Thanks for the offer, but I know my trucks. I believe I have it priced fairly for the condition it's in and low mileage. If you were lucky enough to find the same truck, in a diesel, be prepared to pay an additional $5000.00 (on the low end) to $8000.00 (on the high end) over my price. You could buy lots of gas with the savings - IMHO

I have pictures of the right side, dump bed and rear I could send you. Send me a PM.

fair enough i guess.... For that year and only 23,000 miles. Thats only 2500 miles per year.

The truck is in great condition. And well worth the asking price. I just want longevity out of the diesel 7.3L

To each its own, this truck is definitly worth the price and will be a great find for someone in the market. Its not everyday you find an older truck with 23k miles on it.

good luck

D - I hear you about wanting a diesel. I was wanting a diesel dump real bad before my buddy put this one up for sale. Since I knew the truck and he shot me a fair price I jumped on it. Never missed not having a diesel for one second and appreciated the ease of maintenance and lower maintenance cost.

Free Bump! Sweet Truck!

You won't necessarily get longevity out of a diesel motor in a light truck.

The only true longevity diesel motor in a truck is an in-line cummins. Too bad dodge builds a crappy truck around it. This is from the mouth of my neighbor who is a Peter-built mechanic. Even he steered me away from getting a diesel when I replaced my old F-350.

If you get a big enough gas motor, then it can last just as long, and the parts for repair are a fraction the cost of repairing a diesel.

Guys,

Looks like the F450 is gone. The first person that looked at it and drove put a cash deposit down and plans to pick Wednesday - I required either cash or cashiers check. FWIW - he commented that my listing was very accurate and was glad to pay the asking price.

I'll post again when it's gone.
