What do you need exactly?

Are you providing a mowing contract with flower maintenance?

Going to bed soon, so either PM me or post here. No biggie either way.

I'll check in the morning.

You probably needed an answer last night when you had time to work on your design.

For annual flower installations you could say, x amount of flats or x number of 4 inch pots of x type of flowers (what colours?) to be planted in "a specific location."
As for spacing, that can differ from plant to plant. Develop a good eye.
I have books for design reference too.
I'll bet if you google " x type of flower spacing "
you'll come up with some answers.
You could purchase some for your own garden and set out the pots for practice. Look at your spacing from a distance..ie: as the customer would be seeing it and decide what your spacing should be.
Also, when you go to the garden centres, the tags on the plants could mention spacing
and the other requirements. (Canadian spelling )
Spring appears to be late here in Vancouver. It was early last year. Very wet out.
