I was wondering how many of you just spray Surflan, or a mix, in your beds? If you do, how are the results? I'm looking at costs and it's hard to shell out the money for snapshot this year. Or is there another product out there that i'm missing. Thanks

Are you not charging for the application as an add-on cost?

No it's included in the mulch price

hmm....pendulum aquacap is a cheaper alternative and is a spray.....
All i know is I have used snapshot a couple of times and the results and long term efficacy is amazing.

Snapshot lasts the whole season, but it's $100 a bag. With that said, it goes a long way.

I agree snapshot is a great product, but if there is a product that will save me money and have good results I'd rather use it. Pendulum aquacap about 175.00 for 2.5 gallons I can get 88000 sq feet out of that and that's the high rate. doesn't a bag of snap shot cover 22000 sq feet? I think i like those numbers.

My dealer sold me some Dimension for $60 for a bag and said it treats about 4 less weeds than snapshot

4 less weeds. Are they annuals or perennials?

We use snapshot as well. I have done a few "test" beds with Freehand 1.75 G. We will see which works best

I just picked up a bag of Dimesion ($45). Gunna try it...I didnt wanna fork out the $100 for Snapshot. Casron is about the same. Bad thing is I'm not charging for the application, these are high end residentials and they are paying for bed weeding, just trying to save the time/labor of pulling. So, I guess they are paying, just not upfront.
I guess we will see how the Dimesion works....I have also used Prodiamine at a high rate worked good, I applied it in the rain/over snow and it worked good.
