Just wanted to know what yall think. Next step is getting them printed. I have it done on publisher but I am having a problem finding blank post cards that will line up properly. I really dont feel like having to redo it on avery's site since they seem to be the only people that have the blank cards. Only other option is to bring it to a local print shop and let them charge me an arm and a leg to scan and copy it.

Ehhh... Wan't my opinion?

It looks like a flyer made on ms publisher... nothing special

I think the text is hard to read against the busy background, clip art? come on, you can do better than that, "Eagle Scout, first responder, reliable...." Im not a fan of this stuff...you know what I am "honest, trustworthy, reliable, have good work ethic...." Just like you.... (I'm just saying it doesn't really mean anything on a postcard, show it in your work)

Want my real opinion? Get a designer to design it for you... then you'll have a postcard that looks really good and probably a lot more calls. I've got to give you credit though, it looks like you spent a lot of time on this and I can tell you care about your business, if I were you though, I'd let a designer design the card.

I've heard some really good stuff about Bob at www.plan-itgraphics.com maybe you can shoot him an email to see what he can do you you.

It looks like you do some really good lawn and landscape work, but maybe graphic design just isn't your think :P

Also I LOVE your last name lol.

thanks for the opinion. i get that a lot about my last name lol. so far i havnt ran into anybody with the same last name as me in my area. i would use that as my business name just that nobody could say it right so its a lost cause. so i just broke it down for people lol. you say it chief-foe

Got a kick out of "Concrete weed killing" sorry.

You can get postcards designed fairly inexpensively.

Yes, have Bob at Plan-It Graphics design it. He will not only clean it up and jazz it up, but will pass along some advice for wording, etc. that will help too.

I would also not write "minor" for anything. It makes you sound small, and that may put off people. Do what most people do, if the job looks to be too big, bid high....if you get it then you can afford to hire people!

I would completely start over from scratch. Chessy graphics, the grass inside your font, busy text everywhere.....picture is not that good. Most your services could be listed on the backside, on a solid background. Along with your coupon.

thats a good idea about the services and the coupon. i didnt really like the layout of the coupon, like its location on the card. i was really tryin to use the back of the card as an example, dont think thats necessary??? i personally like the picture lol

Don't want to sound harsh, but honestly... this won't get you a very good response. it's way too difficult to read. There's no flow of what you want the prospect to do.

You don't have to go to a local printer to get something created, there are quite a few companies out there that do this for a living and specialize in designs for the landscaping industry. Don't waste your hard-earned money on something that won't get you the response you need to make this viable.

You don't have to use our company, but at least take a look at some flyers and postcards other landscapers have done that HAVE been successful. This will help you figure out your design: http://www.postcardmania.com/library/landscape-marketing/

If you'd like - you can request a free sample pack which will have several different samples of landscaping print items that will help you get more business. There's a link to request a sample pack at the URL I posted above.

Let me know if you have any questions!
