I have got to the point where I need a skid steer, I've narrow my choices to a cat but I haven't decide if get the 226 or the 236, the dealer near my area has a 226 with 300Hr. for 19,000 but not used 236.
I'll mostly use for lawns installation, mulch, patios and walkways, with the diference in the price I can almost buy a harley rake and trailer (used), what would be a good price for a new 236?

The difference between the two is minimal. 5 HP and 250 lbs. of ROC, I think it's worth it to buy the used one and get a Harley Rake and trailer. What kind of warranty is still on the used one? If the warranty is toast, I'd reconsider. Warranty and dealer support is everything. 300 hours isn't a whole lot of hours on a machine like that, so you're pretty safe.

Thanks for your response
Haven't check the warranty yet
i always go bigger when it comes to purchasing machinery.... besides... 300 hrs is nothing... especially on a CAT. Go with the 236.

I just bought a CAT 246 turbo in March 2002 and I love it. If you can afford a bigger model then get it. I have friends who have the 226 and it is a great machine. They both have advantages good and bad. Mine sometimes is too wide to fit through tight spots. But the lifting capacity over there is alot more. But you can always get a weight kit. Good Luck with your decision.
