I'm not sure how it would work. It does open up quite wide and it has the agitator in it so I would think it should work. We only used it for fert. Yes I would ship, I would just have to look into the cost of shipping.

What brand of mower did u have it on? I'm wondering how the mounting bar would work with mine. Also, where are you located?

I'm talking to Weingartz today about looking at a sprayer for my ztr. Not sure what they have in stock, but would make it a worthwhile trip if u still have the spreader.

As far as the mounting bar goes. You should be able to mount in on any mower with front forks/caster wheels but it may require a little head scratching, a trip to the hardward store and some drilling of holes in it.

Is the spreading width adjustable on this?

Yes w/ the speed control knob. (Which is not the "factory" knob, we had a reostat laying around so we swapped that one on when the original died). You can also adjust the opening to control how much u put down. And w/ loosening two bolts adjust the pattern (adjusts where the hole drops the product down to the spinner). But that is set pretty even right now, at least last time we used it which shouldn't have changed.

Yes for a narrower front, cut down the ends, drill 4 new holes, should be good to go. In theory at least :-)
