I got a dump bed insert for my 8ft bed 00 f-250 7.3l psd and was wondering how much weight will it handle before I need a add leaf or airbags ?
The local shop said just install a set of timbrens and call it a day !
what are you guys using ?

I have the AirLift 5000 bags with wireless remote. It's all adjustable at the touch of a button.

Installed mine and they were easy enough to do. Also only work when you need them. And now with the 32 gooseneck back on the truck - they do help!

i have airlift air bags as well and the work great. i would recommend those

Just install a set of Timbrens and call it a day. I put them in my Chevy 2500HD with dump insert. I used the spacers so the Timbrens are "preloaded". This makes the ride a little stiff, but it keeps the stock ride height with the insert installed and the truck easily handles a 3000 lb. load in the insert.
