Did a little up lighting on a Howard Johnson while we were in Pasadena last week. Also changed out the wall sconces to these from Kichler. The up lights we did are only the columns, not the lights in the middle. Some of the middle fixtures were bad sockets and others were burned out. They did not want to do more. We used 12.4 watt Kichler LED on 6" extensions. I think we made a difference, but it is an example of not getting the entire job and people thinking you did not do it correctly when they see your work. You inherent the stuff you did not do as well.

Looks good. Probably looks better when fully dark too.

That looks good for an "incomplete" job. Too bad that one tall streetlamp interferes. (Maybe it doesn't in 3-D.)

Tommy, is the yellowish tinge at the bottom of the uplight beam an artifact of the photo or does it look that way in person?

the close ups look like Kichler is mixing warm and cool Diodes in the fixture. Looks kind of multi color in the close up shots ?
LED's have definatly made huge strides in the past few years.
You say the discoloration in the Sconces is not appearant on a live view of the job ?
I have always been nervous about mounting like that. 1 good sized bird perching on your light and shows over.

I used 10 degree 12.4 watt and it doesn't show in person like it did in the photo. The light from the street light gave me kelvin problems with the white balance in the photo. Also it was at sunrise.
