1.) Always maintain all pertinent occupational licenses and certificates, also including payroll taxes, workers comp, insurance, & reasonable equipment maintenance practices so as to put forth a professional image & safe & responsible working atmosphere.

Lets not foget, keep spill containment kit, flat shovel, and MSD Sheets on hand in truck at all times.:D

Pay your employee's what was agreed upon in the Spring and follow all labour codes.;)

Here's one. Don't fertilize a dead lawn.
It cracks me up how many fresh flags I see in lawns that are DEAD. Not only that, they are spraying liquid fert and Trimec.
The sick part is... The customer pays for it!!!

Don't do unnecessasary applications.
Make sure you have identified the weed, or problem before you treat it.
I love listening to a guy tell you he is treating for somthing not there, or the incorrect herbicide for the weed. Even better yet customer calls and says not to cut this week cause of so n so treatment, and you go look to verify and don't see it.
