I'm re-evaluating the pricing structure of our lawn care apps. Currently the minimum square footage pricing level is set at 3000sqft, and price increments every 500 square feet thereafter.
We also have several 80,000+ sqft commercial props we just bid for at the going rate.
what do you guys do?

1000 ft increments. Add for lot of detail work and subtract if we do several in the area.

Currently increments of 125m2 (~1300ft2). We'll probably condense that to 100m2 next year as we get more and more customers. 90% of our fertilizing customers now are also on our cutting list.
----------
Dave in S.Ontario
www.cutntrim.com

we have a $300 min for the program, we found anything less is not worth it. WE don't sell applications we sell programs. WE price per 1,000. our avg lawn is 16,000 res and 90,000 com. Good luck

We do things along the same lines as Steve. I have just done applications in the past, but whenever I wasn't able to be on the lawn every 5 or 6 weeks, customers got upset and cancelled. Got tired of that, so now its 7 apps at $35 minimun, for the first 3,000 sqft. After that it is around $3.00 per 1K

for big lawns it easy to hit the 300 min. for little lawns we just keep adding services untilit hits 300. our program is 5-6 step grub, aertion are add ons. for a 4,ooo ft lawn program 200,grub 30, 2 air 70, total 300. chem lawn trained people to think in apps, but most want to be taken care of for the whole season. they can pay in full to start or in halfs.
