the point was to make a little more room for the next stage wich is a basketball court..then a little more clean up work, then on to replacing the existing wood deck with a stone patio and replacing the failing stamped concrete pool deck with something new..

Nice! Especially like how you tied the boulders in to the wall ends.

I must say that I am completely envious of you guys that do this type of landscape work. I'm so sick of the lawn maintenance work (just boring). I don't mind the mulch installs and the landscape maintenance stuff that comes along with it but....... I want to get into more of this type of landscape work. I took a couple classes on SRW and pavers and will be putting in a smaller paver patio at my brothers to get my feet wet. Installing something new is just soo much more appealing that just laying stripes on a lawn.

Looks great!!! Makes such a good change to that existing landscaping!

I'll switch with you. I'm tired of pita hardscape customers.

The difference is with maintenance you know what your doing next week all season. There is some security in that. The downside is that it is the lowest paying job in the industry, so if you want to make money you need to be lean and efficient.

I also spent some time honing my sniper skills this winter, but we've been back as the weather allows for a few weeks now. Got some hardscape items going on, which is always fun this time of year with the weather. Our large ticket for the year is going to be plantings.
