starter problems on a 91 chevy c1500

Hey yall,
I have a 1991 c- 1500 2x with just over 100k miles on it. About a month ago the starter got somewhat speratic, now I dont park anywhere I will not be able to bumb start it. I have changed out the battery, startermotor and solenoid, it still is giving me trouble. It cranks up just fine sometimes, will not do a thing others. It doesnt seem to have much to do with how hot the motor is other than I have better luck after it has sat for a day or two. Some issues I have thought of, but dont know how to test are the Neutral (clutch in) shut off or the ignition module.
Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated,

Possibly a bad switch. I am not much of a mechanic. I wonder even if it isn't a loose wire or some thing some where.

Sounds like an electrical problem. I would get it checked by an honest mech. Diagnostic work can take too much time for us shade tree mechs.
