I have a Toro Dingo TX 525 with a Kubota motor. Everything has been going great until yesterday. I get to the job and go to unload the unit. It starts fine, take off the parking break, but as soon as I move the lever to drive it stalls out. If I barely squeeze the lever it will move, if I squeeze it more to go faster the engine just dies. Any idea's? Of course all this took place on a Saturday after 12:00.

Thanks in advance.

Your parking brake sensor has gone bad.

Your parking brake has two functions. One it mechanically releases the parking brake to engage it. This part is working fine.

The second part of the parking brake is it mechanically releases from a button that electronically tells the engine that the parking brake is on. The problem with your machine is that somewhere on your parking brake is bent. So when you put your parking brake off, the parking brake does not not fully engage the parking brake button, meaning your Dingo believes your parking brake is on and is programmed to cut off as soon as you try to move the machine.

Give me a call and I can tell you an easy way to fix the problem.
