I needed 12 gallons to change the hydraulic system on my Dingo.

Mobil Delvan 15w-40 has a $20 rebate on a 5-gallon pail and $4 on a gallon. I got the 5-gallon for $50...less $20...is $6 gal.

If the manufacturer approves and the oil fits the application why wouldn't you?

Bobcat ex 10W30 is recommended if not buying bobcat brand oil.

Toro recommended 10w-30 diesel motor oil, and later added 15w-40. My dealer says the 10w-30 is much better in colder weather. However, the Mobil promotion is on the 15w-40.

At that price I might change it again at the end of the fall, so 10w-30 could be used then.

I guess i still think too much in terms in tractors. Put motor oil powershift tractor and you'll be splitting it before long.
