A local equipment retailer is cloing it's doors. They have a 2007 (with zero hours) snapper 48" zero turn witha 21 hp vanguard eng. never been sold or used. Original MSRP was $5,500. They are asking $2995.
Does anyone have any opinions or knowledge of this unit. It is now 2011 so it's 4yrs old but never sold.

0 hours? has to be a great deal. I have the 61" snapperpro with a kawa engine and it has been very good. I have no personal expierence with the briggs vanguard but hear only positive remarks of it. If you do not buy that mower, please let me know as I am very interested. Thanks and good luck

Dude these machines are great! The vanguards are awesome engines with cast iron pistons! They also run at higher RPM than Kohlers.
And don't worry about the mower's age. Zero hours is Zero Hours. Doesn't matter if its 15 years old. The mower is in New condition and you will have many many hours of smooth operation. I wish I could get a good deal like that.
