have a 95 ram w/ a 7 way trailer connector At the end of last season everything worked great. All lights, brakes, etc. work but I now have now 12v power going into connector truck side. My question is would there be a fuse somewhere along that line that I cant find? once it leaves the rear of truck i can fallow it down frame and then lose it somewhere around driver side front. And say if there is no fuse should there be one? can i cut the wire where i lose it and wire it to the pos. battery? any help would be great

I have a 99 Ram with trailer towing and often blow fuses. Have you looked?
In my 99 there is a large "power" box under the hood.

I'll tell you one thing: I hate trailer wiring. Year after year, I have problems.
Too many gremlins. That's what you have...... a gremlin in there somewhere.

so should i just avoid the hassle and run a new wire off the of battery?

I suppose that would work but I would put an in-line fuse on there.
What is that 12v line for to the trailer? I think you said everything works.

I use it to run interior lights but i suppose you could wire any 12v run item

I should have guessed. I have a couple lights inside my trailer.
Wish I had an answer from my experience but I don't.
