What to use?

6 weeks ago i performed a total renovation of lawn. The new grass came in great and looks great. I have noticed over the past week to week and a half alot more weeds comming up. I used starter fert. when I seeded and four weeks after that I used a Lesco 32-?-? suggested by Lesco.

I have mowed 6 times so far since renovation. What can I use to kill the weeds now. I thought about Trimec, would this be a good product?

I hate to see weeds in the beutifull new grass (fescue blend), that is growing.

Mike,

If all the grass plants have been clipped at least twice by the mower blades, then you're good to go. Six mowings doesn't mean that all the plants have been clipped 6 times, but I'll guess that they should all have been hit at least 2-3 times.

Was this a Tall Fescue blend? If so, & it's been down for 8 weeks, then this should be the case.
