Thanks im gonna pick it up in the morn and cut tomorrow with it. Im looking forward to use it, I have 2 accts that a 60 inch is gonna keep me out of the back yard when my 54 would make it but to get the big frame with the big drive tires I had to get the 60.

$9500 the 2011 was $10500 and I really couldnt tell much difference they have the same pumps and frame. The only difference I could tell was the 2011 had a sticker that said x series.

No im only gonna take out the lesco when I cut bank properties and just run the crap out of it. This will be my mower for my regular yards that I mow all the time I get bank cuts twice a month and make more off them than mowing regular yards all month. LOL

Picked up the new mower this morn. It cuts great I mowed all day with it so far I am very happy with the Mower. The only thing I think this is gonna be a bit of a gas hog (LOL) I used like half a tank today and I could mow almost all week with the Lesco. I attached a pic of a yard I cut today not the best stripes but not the best yard either.LOL

What does this have to do with his new Z-mower?

I was just referring to the general quality of Exmark. I have a Z, guess I should have mentioned that. Why do pricks like you have to nick pick everyones comments? Idiot.

I just bought the exact same mower on Tuesday. I'm going to be trying it out tomorrow on 20 acres!! Hopefully I can cut it all on one tank as it cost $40 to fill it up. Did you do 0% for 36 months? The lowest my dealer would go was $9999+tax and 0% for 36. I hope it will last a good while without any major issues. Congrats!

Did the first oil change yesterday at 5 hours like the manual says and I called the dealer and asked if I could run mobil 1 like I do in my other mowers and they said I should not use synthetic on the first oil change so I just used a conventional 10 w 30 does that sound correct.

betterlawnsandlandscaping
04-24-2011, 03:21 PM
Yes that is correct. The rings don't seat as good on synthetic.

yep, waiting on 100 hours to change to synthetic, I used 10w40 gets pretty warm here and when i mow the cabin it runs 3-4 hours straight.

After cutting with this for a couple of days I got on my lesco today and drove it around the yard. It seems like a bit of a POS after being on this for a few days. LOL

I know what you mean, my friend that has the 920a I think it is with the 54in deck seems very happy with it so far the 60in has worked out well I thought it may be a little big for some of what I do but it has worked out good so far and the exmark seems to be a top notch machine.

Nice pic up...I just bought a Scag Tiger Cat 48 for $6500 brand new. I wanted the exmark but $7300 was a bit to much for my one acre.

I just switched to synthetic last week. It does sort of seem like bs seeing cars come with synthetic from the factory but who knows. Guess better safe than sorry so I switched at a little over 50 hours.

Nice machine man. I have the Toro equivalent with the 60 inch turbo force deck. I switched to mobil one 10-30 at 35hrs. Fuel and oil consumsion suck at break-in, thats normal. Remember to change the oil and filters in the 2 trans at 200 hrs and every 500 afterwards with mobil one 15-50. Keep the tire psi at 13 psi and your good for 2000-3000 hrs of use.
