The 61 came out in production the last couple months. It is a lower volume unit compared to the 48 or 52. Rep in the area has sold some but the lack of decent bagging system pushes people to the rider. I thought about one but bought a turf tiger instead, money isn't much more for the riders and have good size bagging systems.

i got a price of $6700 for the 61.. I thought the turf tigers were quite a bit more than that?

The 35hp briggs w/61 deck is about $9300. Actually thought the 61 vride was in the high 7's but never asked for a otd price on one. The $6700 is a good price I would think.

Alright I was just wondering because I own a 52/23 wright stander now. I drove the v-ride around at a lunch in a dealer had and it seemed to be pretty nice. There was no cutting (grass hadnt started growing yet) or no hills and I have never owned a scag before. So im just trying to get some help

Where did you see a 35hp Turf Tiger for $9300? That's a great price.

I don't have a bagger for it but I have heard that other guys use the accelerator with the v-ride.

I bought 2 of the 61" V-rides. They will climb hills better than the 52's because of the wider stance. So far the quality of cut, discharge and speed has been on par with the 52's. If you need the bigger size I would recommend them.
