Ok, how do you upload pictures here? I took some of a lawn that I dormant seeded and top dressed in early Dec. and figured I'd show the current look.

Dormant seeding in Dec. and you got germination already... We are still waiting for mature lawns to wake up here, let alone germinate anything... :)

Sorry, no help with pix... I did it once but never got the size right and had a headache before it was all over...

Yeah, only the lawns that get good sun exposure are really waking up. I think the last piece of snow in my heavily shaded back yard finally disappeared in the last day or so.

I was holding my breath on the germination, never dormant seeded before. I also was worried about snow mold issues because of the late top dressing, but everything came through looking great and we'll see how the lawn fills in over the next few weeks.

upload your photos to photobucket, then copy and paste the img code into your reply. Here's a tutorial I posted over at http://northcarolinapha.com

Photos need to be 800 x 800 or smaller. Most people use photobucket because it is so easy to use. Here's the short version of how to use photobucket to both upload and resize your photos for posting here.

ok now here's the long version:

go to http://photobucket.com/ and sign up for an account. when you get to the upload page, you'll want photobucket to automatically resize your photo for you when you upload it.

from the upload screen, click "more options":

Click on "800 x 600". that size works best with forums.

http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e248/jonthepain/photoresizehowto1.jpg

click "save," which will take you back to the upload page. click on upload and browse to your photo. when you upload it, photobucket will automagically resize your photo to 800 x 600 or thereabouts.

after it's been uploaded, you'll see a thumbnail of your photo. hover over the photo till you get the code pop-up. copy and paste the "img" code at the bottom of the popup into your post:

http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e248/jonthepain/photoresizehowto3.jpg

that's it!

You're welcome, glad to help.

I moderate and own several forums around the internet, and this is the question that comes up most often.

And I hope you had a great Resurrection Day!

Why not just attach them to the post, or upload them into your user photo album?
