I have to put in an estimate for removing some damaged bushes and replacing them with new ones. The bushes are about 3ft high and 4ft wide. What would you guys charge for removing these and what would you charge for planting? Also, how much do you guys mark up prices on bushes/plants for your customers. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
the difficulty level varies tremendously depending on the type of bush youre removing

ten or fifteen minutes to remove each plant, fifteen to plant each new one,
your time to pick up the plants-I try to charge what the wholesaler would charge me for delivery, and then your time to go to the dump and your dump fee. Add in some bone-meal and ever-green fertilizer. And then a few minutes to water every-thing
Double the price for the plants sounds alright.
Are you going to give them a one year warranty on the installation?
That's pretty standard.
Taxus sp. (yew) do not like to be planted in wet soils or areas that flood.
If you have yellow tree in your plantings, check the soil for water retention.
Plant them higher if you have to
