hello all i just picked up a 56in side discharge deck for my walker
but when i went to go install it the deck had a splined pto shaft and my mower has a square pto shaft
the questions are
is it compatable if i change the shaft?
if so which shaft do i change? the deck? or the mower?
and where can i find these shafts?
any info would be great
thank you in advance

hey i'm running a 56 on my walker right now, we switch back & forth to 48ghs.
the newer models have splined, the older ones have square drive shafts. they
are all compatible. when you take the deck off the part thats still hanging
from the mower is what you change. spray some wd40 on the quick coupler
while you got it off. you can pick up a drive shaft from the walker dealer

Change over to the newer splined shaft. It will have more flex and run quieter. The splined shafts are a bit pricey.
