View Full Version : decal or paint removal for enclosed trailer

I'm in the process of buying a used enclosed trailer. The owner said he won't remove the logo's from the trailer. I'm pretty sure they are painted on. I really can't use the trailer until they are removed. what's the best way to get them off? The trailer is white. So think I'll just paint it white after the are removed or can I sand them down, prime it and shoot it. Once the funds are there I'll put my logo on it. Any suggestions??? I'm getting at a fair price, so i'm not going to argue over it. Thanks.

I would say odds are you will have one option. Sand, prime, and paint.

If re-painting is your backup plain, I've had luck removing decals with my pressure washer. It leaves a gluey residue that comes off with goo-gone.

Thanks guys for the responses my wife knows someone who said he'd take care of it. Remove them and paint the trailer for a couple hundred. I think that's fair.
