Rubber Flap striping Kit

I am in the process of making one, I got some old stall mat that is probably 3/4" thick. I am wondering if you guys think it will be too thick. ie. hurt the grass.

If not I'm going to look for some that is about mudflap thickness.

What is your opinion?

I got some hay bailer belt to make one out of but have yet to get around to doing it. Bought it at TSC.

Did that on a Toro I used to have, though I used worn out baler belt from a next door neighbor farmer. Worked pretty good.

Mine has chewed the corners off and is a PITA to back over leaves, it puts down a dark stripe though.

Where did you mount yours and do you have a pic. I bolted mine to the back of the deck.
