I have been in business for 2 years now and i just recently 2 days ago did my first bed clean up job.I have a problem i dont know how much to charge.It took myself and 2 others a total of 10hrs to complete this job.These beds i dont think had beem cleaned in 3 years.Please help. Thank you

Take your overall costs: labor, gas, materials and add 30/hr. for the business. I can only speak for myself, however.

Your customer didn't request an estimate before the job was done? I wish I had customers like this. Blank checks for me are non-existent.

you did the job before you told them a price? Whatever you tell them now they will say it is to high.

take your hourly rate x3 then x10

3 people 10 hrs. around 1000.00

Thank you very much for the help.Kind of gives me an idea.Yes she said she didnt need an estimate she just wanted the job done and done good so i said no problem and i seen $$$$$$ lol

Man i hope this customer does not stiff you on the bill. Sounds like she is thinking you are goign to be around the 200.00 mark to me.

Completely agree with StBalor, based on our overhead and labor costs etc. it would run the customer somewhere around $1000 maybe up to $1200. But again I wouldn't have started on the job even if it was my best friends yard unless I had provided an estimate or job proposal and had it signed by the customer. Even if the customer replies that they dont care how much it costs, Im at least having them sign something stating that they agree to pay my man hour rate.
