I will be buying my first luminaires (to experiment with) soon.
Wolf Creek in Toledo OH is the closest distributor and they have always served me very well for irrigation parts.

Hi dirtandhoops. At least I didn't go on and on about us, right? I've wanted to respond to posts over the years but didn't want others to think I'm just on here to plug the business. I follow along just about everyday and have for years. I used to follow low volt, as well. Love the pics, the posts, and the feedback. Now that I broke the ice, I look forward to participating.

Well, posting within limits is like walking a tightrope for suppliers and manufacturers.
I would say that most do it well.

I deal with Horizon. They have a good relation with unique lighting systems

Wow, I thought there were a LOT more distributors out there.

There are. If you look on most lighting manufacturer's distributor locators, there are usually 10's if not 100's of outlets. There are so many now it's almost easier to ask what landscape supply center or irrigation distributor, whether single location or multi-store, doesn't sell some form of lighting.

Are you talking stand-alone landscape lighting distributors, the likes of California Landscape Lighting, Lite-scape.com, and Cascade lighting?

Or... are you talking any irrigation, electrical or supply shop that carries lighting? I'd suggest definition and kudos to the stand-alones.

In Seattle there are a number of distributors/re-sellers that stock 1 or 2 lines, but their main business (Electrical or Irrigation goods) clearly takes precident in inventory allocation, staff knowledge, marketing ect.

I am thinking about the distributors that we are using. It would include stand alone and probably irrigation supply houses mostly.
