Kichler 15408bkt question

My client has a Kichler 15408bkt chandelier, To install the glass it appears it needs a particular tool. Does anyone have experience installing this fixture? I am having a really hard time finding a spanner wrench for this. Unless I am doing something really wrong, I cannot seem to get the glass on because my hands do not fit in the glass .

You might be thinking to hard about this. Just assemble it upside down. Let the locknut grab itself. OR put a dab of glue on locknut.So when you spin glass you also spin nut

That is the perspective I needed. Thanks. Sometimes you simply cannot see the common sense idea, especially if the fixture is already hanging.
