It has the old style grips. Not sure of year. I pretty much retired it from mowing when I got a Z. Must be late 90's. just took it out and started to clean it up. I'll take pictures tomorrow. I am in Annandale, NJ 08801

don't want to hijack your thread and you can pm me if you want but two questions, is the model serial number of the actual power unit still on it? If so do you mind sharing? And secondly is the parking brake factory? and could you possibly take a few more pictures of the parking brake for me? Reason being i have a 52 real similar to yours, and have seen very few, and secondly this is the first parking brake on a pistol grip turf tracer i have seen. So if you dont mind this info would be really helpful..
