They don't make them like they used to, these new over-engineered
high priced units take all the fun out of it.

Yeah, that's kinda gay...

Somehow I knew somebody was going to go there, I wouldn't put a female name on a mower, but when you got a wife they are apt to do that kinda stuff LOL! My Ex used to name all our vehicles guess that's where I got the idea from, just having a lil fun is all.

I never really felt obligated to name any of my equipment, but one girl decided to start calling my truck Gunther and a guy on this site took to calling my mower Brutus.

I could care less either way, but whatever makes them happy.

Good to know I'm not the only one. I refer to my Kubota zg227 as Elli May, named after a recent cow we had whom ate an over abundance of grass on a daily basis. I also refer to my craftsman 21 as POS 21.

I name mine too. I call the big mower "The Dixie" and both of my 36s "Ferris". I even have names for my hand tools. That there is "the Shovel". That's the "BR600". Over there is the "FS80". And that other one is the "Shindaiwa". And that little toy Tanaka I bought last fall. I call that one "Junk" or "Piece Of S...".

Anyone ever read the Sunday Comics? Frank & Ernest are our Toro Proline and Exmark TTHP. They're the slowest things we've got.

NOT REALLY... just throwing it into the bunch. Think it sounds funny tho.

WOW. gotta agree, if I did name a mower, it would be a womans name... sounds a little less off kilter when you say you're going to ride on a woman.

Our eXmark is called Judy. From a Dickens character, Judy, who is required to regularly shake up her uncle Smallweed. Bleak House indeed!
